Happy Sally is a four-piece honky tonk country band based in Central Pennsylvania. The band features Sally Keaveney (lead vocals/rhythm guitar), Paul Keaveney (guitsteel), Dave Spink (drums/backing vocals), and Matt Hershey (bass guitar). Influences range from Merle Haggard and Buck Owens to Ernest Tubb, Doc Watson, and Junior Brown. The band takes a straightforward approach to songwriting, combining a raw and biting wit with an intoxicated sincerity. They maintain an old school feel in the Bakersfield tradition with touches of Americana and blues, always displaying a dynamic vocal attack and upfront guitar and steel melodies.
