Chase Walker Band

Lancaster Roots & Blues RETURNS - Friday, Saturday & Sunday, Sept 27, 28 & 29

"The best young blues rock band in this country.”

American Blues, Roots Rock and Soul band based in Nashville TN.

Close your eyes for a moment and just listen. The first thing you hear is the rich, rocking guitar, the notes swelling with rolling emotion, each chord weeping the blues with reckless abandon. Then the rhythm section registers, your toe instantly tapping and your head nodding to the groove, picking you up and carrying you along for the ride. Oh, and then the vocals kick in, smooth, rich, and passionate and the overall package has you thinking of artists like Stevie Ray Vaughan, Warren Haynes, and the Black Crowes and you’ve just got to open your eyes and look. And when you do, you can’t believe your eyes.

Ever since their formation a in 2012, that’s exactly the reaction that California grown and Nashville based Chase Walker Band has been met with. People hear the music and simply can’t believe that these sounds are being birthed by such a young performer. Yet, when the band sets foot on stage and 20 yr old, lead guitarist and vocalist Chase Walker strikes the first note and removes his hat, revealing his long, curly red hair, “unleashing the Kraken” as the band likes to call it, there’s no denying that this band is the real deal.

Chase Walker Band has taken the music world by storm. Walkers guitar prowess and soulful vocals landed him on NBC’s The Voice as well as in Guitar World Magazine, Guitar Player Magazine and Ultimate Guitar dot com.

In just a few short years they have been featured in American Blues Scene Magazine as a “Top 10 Artist You Need to Know” and named a 2016 and 2017 Blues Rock Review (BRR) “Top Artist to Know” and 2018 BRR “Future of Blues Rock – 10 Acts To Watch Under 30” among artists like Marcus King, Samantha Fish, Ben Poole, Great Van Fleet and Larkin Poe.

Their second album “Not Quite Legal” released in 2016 was nominated for Best Blues Album of the Year and Song of the Year by the International Independent Music Awards (IMAs) joining past nominees Walter Trout, Selwyn Birchwood, and Jeff Healey.

All this leading to a successful National Tour in 2017 plus some notable shows at clubs and festivals including Vans Warped Tour, Gator by the Bay Festival, Julian Blues Bash, Silver City Blues Festival, Tall City Blues Festival, Rock Cut Festival, Legendary Blues Cruise Pre-party, House of Blues Anaheim, BB’s Blues Jazz and Soup St Louis, Biscuits & Blues San Francisco, BB King’s Blues Club Memphis, and The Roxy Los Angeles.

They’ve opened for heavyweight artists like Kenny Loggins, B.B. King, Tab Benoit, Devon Allman, Cyril Neville, Eric Lindell, Walter Trout, Mike Zito, Royal Southern Brotherhood, Eric Sardinas, the Delgado Brothers and Kingfish!

Their star shows no sign of fading, leading to Kevin Lyman, founder of the Vans Warped Tour to declare, “Chase Walker Band is the best young blues rock band in this country.”

That’s praise that the Chase Walker Band is humbled by, for while they are admittedly young, and very much old souls, they are reverent and inspired by the legends that came before them and simply want to create great music about real life, with real instruments, and real musicians that will get audiences on their feet dancing and sound as great live as it does on the album. No cheating.

It’s a formula that’s worked thus far for the Chase Walker Band and they invite you to stop by and experience it for yourself.  And if you get the opportunity to see them live, do so and make sure to swing by their merch table, and notice the sign that says with a wink and a nod, “For every dollar you spend, a Bieber fan gets to hear Jimi Hendrix for the first time.” You’ll be glad you did.
