Nomad Distilling co. is located in Bastress Township, just outside Williamsport, Pennsylvania. After five years as a locally-run business, the distillery was purchased in March 2018 by Frank & Sarah Kudlack, a husband-and-wife team with over a decade of experience in local Pennsylvania entrepreneurship.
Frank has a background in real estate, construction, management, commodities, and consulting—perfectly preparing him for managing and reinventing this historic property. Meanwhile Sarah handles the marketing and event side of the business, relying on her years of experience in food and beverage, event management, marketing, wedding planning, and public relations. Together, they bring not only experience, but also a longstanding love for the Williamsport area to their new venture.
Since taking the lead at the former Mountain Top Distillery, Frank & Sarah have undertaken renovations and rebranded to make this business their very own. And while they’re continuing the beloved tradition of producing locally-made spirits, they’re doing so with a fresh perspective that focuses on craft and curation—and all the hardworking people who are part of this local distillery team.
