York County band, The Blue Soles, pays homage to the Blues/Soul/Country music of generations past, offering original music and lyrics that echo the stylings of artists like Otis Redding, Bill Withers, The Band, Waylon Jennings, Merle Haggard, Dolly Parton, and James Brown.
The band features the unique, powerful vocal stylings and lyrics of Krystle Sights, poignant, crisp guitar rifts and heartfelt lyrics by Jeremiah Gembe, solid, reverberating bass lines by Randy Hake, harmonica by local legend Joseph Naumann, dynamic and soulful drums by Will Tillman, and melodic, uplifting notes by pianist Bryan Smyser. Founded by Krystle Sights and Jeremiah Gembe in August 2014, The Blue Soles offers over one hundred years of combined musical experience and talent.
